Texas a “Top State”: Business Climate Ranks 4th in U.S.
Which states have the best climate for new businesses to thrive, in terms of regulation, quality of workforce, taxes, and more? Which states are going to spur the innovative businesses of the future? Texas ranks as top contender.
Good news for Texans. Texas ranked as the 4th best state to start a business, faring very well in terms of economic infrastructure and innovation. U.S. News & World Report compiled the list, looking at the business climates for entrepreneurs in all fifty states.
Their study aimed to answer the questions: Which states have the best climate for new businesses to thrive, in terms of regulation, quality of workforce, taxes, and more? Which states are going to spur the innovative businesses of the future?
“The Lone Star State won praise for having ‘the most globe-focused manufacturing sector in the country, with export sales at $69,268 per worker—the highest of any state.’ U.S. News also cited Texas’ lack of income or capital-gains taxes for individuals and the state’s low worker compensation costs.”
